We celebrated the momentous occasion (Thursday, August 2nd, 2012) with cousins in North Carolina and had a fun, balloon-filled day. Friday we had a big trek back to Berkeley and were greeted by 60 degree weather, a welcome break from the east coast heat. James was very excited to be reunited with his playgroup friends at a birthday party on Sunday, where he got to swim, play in a ball pit, and show off his walking skills.
At his one year checkup, James was still at the top of the percentile charts at 31 inches, 23 and 1/4 pounds, and a giant head.
